[Hong Kong, 21 September 2018] Sun Growth Asset Management Limited (“SGAML”), a company under Sun Growth Financial Group (“SGF”), announced that the grant of Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (“SFC”) Type 4 license (Advising on securities) and Type 9 license (Asset management), CE No. BKZ493.
The grant of the licenses is a milestone of SGAML, which allows it to manage a portfolio of securities or futures contracts for clients on a discretionary basis and manage funds on a discretionary basis. At the meantime, the license enables SGAML to provide professional and diversified asset management services to its clientele.
Within only two months after obtaining the licenses, SGAML has already been appointed as investment manager for a private hedge fund targeted professional investors (PIs), namely, investors whom meet the requirements of the Securities and Futures (Professional Investor) Rules (Cap. 571).
